Sunset at the Beach Marble

This is an example of a new series of marbles that I've been working on. I'm not sure if the photo's can really capture what they look like, although I'm sure you can get an idea. In person there is a lot more depth and 3D.

This particular marble is a beach scene at sunset. The water gets shallow as it washes up on the shores. There is a large rock formation out in the shallows and a cliff/ rock feature that borders the beach which has waves crashing over it. Way out at sea you can just catch the last of a beautiful red sunset before nightfall and the stars completely take over.

Tracy Jerrell Akhtar: I love this marble! Not just the colors but the tranquil scene. I was putting myself inside this marble, imagining the silence except for the gentle lap of waves on the shore. The cool evening air on my skin as the glowing ember of light fades on the horizon. The stars seemingly so close, like the whole universe is crowding in. A surreal dreamscape you've captured in glass!
